The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Penza company "Biosintez" concluded the contract for the provision of subsidies for compensation of a part of expenses on organization and conducting clinical trials of the medicinal product "Mialays gel for external use 1%" for patients with osteoarthritis of a knee. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Industry.

"In accordance with the objectives of the state programme 'Pharma-2020' on the provision of the health system with safe domestic medicine of high quality, the LLC 'Biosintez' is constantly involved in the development and exploration of high-quality affordable import-substituting medicine," the department noted.

The press service specified that over the last 5 years, the variety of "Biosintez" import-substituting products increased by 22 types of medicine.

"The state support that the company will receive will speed up the entrance of LLC ‘Biosintez’ import-substituting products to the Russian market," the Ministry of Industry of the Penza region emphasized.
