Penza, 28 January 2017. PenzaNews. 63.3 million passengers were transported by motor vehicles in the Penza region in 2016. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Industry.

"In 2016, motor vehicles of Penza region organizations and enterprises transported 12,745 thousand tones of goods, including 5,502 thousand tones, or 43.2% of the whole volume, transported on commercial terms," the department added.

The office noted that the volume of cargo transportation increased by 14.3% compared to the 2015 year and cargo turnover – by 24.6%.
