Penza, 9 February 2017. PenzaNews. The two-day 7th international scientific-practical conference of engineering, installation and operating organizations "Complex security provision. Advanced development" started its work at the premises of the hotel complex "Chistye Prudy" in the Mokshany area of the Penza region on Thursday, February 9.

The event gathered representatives of engineering and operating organization from different regions of Russia and CIS, workers of the Penza region government, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and universities.

Turning to those present the head of the board of directors of the JSC "Centre of specialized engineering constructions of research institute of radio electronic technology", the head of the council of the instrument engineering cluster "Bezopasnost", the president of the association of Penza region manufacturers Oleg Shapovalov drew attention to burning issues of the industry.

As an example, he mentioned the situation in the sphere of transport security.

"At all meetings connected with transport security I claim that we should not regard Egypt as an example. At present, our airports do not correspond to more or less clear safety requirements," Oleg Shapoval noted.

He also mentioned increasing competition including unfair, and urged participants of the conference to pay attention primarily to registered trademarks.

"I have always said that perimeter-based security complexes are a "folk craft" for Penza. We should treat our work as a craft, be best at it," he emphasized and said that he is looking to long-term cooperation with the guests of the region.

In turn, the deputy head of the Penza region government Valery Bespalov noted dynamic development of the companies that joined the cluster movement.

"The cluster of technical means of protection created by us, which we also call the instrument engineering cluster, demonstrates it well. The enterprises, which are united within the cluster, develop 20% faster than the others," he emphasized.

During the day, participants of the conference will discuss a wide range of issues including those connected with car checkpoint formation, introduction of reinforced-concrete barriers of a new generation, portable complex of field camps security, and technical means of perimeter security. Among the issues that are planned to be touched upon are certification and non-infringement quality of products of the JSC "Centre of specialized engineering constructions of research institute of radio electronic technology" and possibilities of the realization of joint projects of the enterprises of the Penza region instrument engineering cluster.

On the second day, participants will get acquainted with the production facilities of the enterprises of the Penza instrument engineering cluster, and will visit the grounds of engineering and technical safety facilities.

The organizer of the annual conference is "Centre of specialized engineering constructions of research institute of radio electronic technology". The co-organizer of the event is the JCS Center of Cluster Development.
