Penza delegation headed by governor arrives in Hamburg

Penza, 30 March 2017. PenzaNews. The delegation of the Penza region headed by the governor Ivan Belozertsev arrived in Hamburg within the framework of a two-day visit to Germany.

The delegation also includes the chairman of the Legislative Assembly Valery Lidin, the regional government deputy chairman Andrei Luzgin, the minister of health Vladimir Stryuchkov, the board chairman of the JSC "MedInzh" Sergei Evdokimov, the director of the Medical Institute Alexander Mitroshin, and the general director of LLC “TitanMed” Andrei Zhupikov.
As it was reported by the press service of the regional government, it is planned to hold a number of business meetings, including the one with the management of the "Link" company working in the sphere of biomedicine. Members of the delegation will also visit production facilities of the company.
In addition, in Hamburg it is planned to hold a presentation of investment opportunities of the Penza region.
According to Ivan Belozertsev, Germany is a strategically important business partner for the region in the field of international economic activity.
"We are interested in cooperation with German business," he emphasized.
According to Penzastat data, Penza region trade turnover with Germany in 2016 amounted to 31.5 million dollars. Penza enterprises export to Germany light glass and goods made from it, as well as furniture, confectionery, plywood, liqueurs and spirits.
In February 2017, the company "StankoMashStroi" exported to Germany two universal turning lathes of its own production.
LLC "Mayak Technocell", LLC "Trei GmbH", LLC "Nudel-product", and LLC "Penza Plant Telema Gino" work in the Penza region with a share of German capital.
