Penza governor sees production of ice-cream “Nashe”

Penza, 10 April 2017. PenzaNews. The governor Ivan Belozertsev and the chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region Valery Lidin estimated production facilities of the enterprise “Penzakholod”, which produces ice-cream under the brand “Nashe”.

Alexander Sveshnikov, head of the JSC “Penzakholod”, conducted an excursion around the enterprise.

He told the visitors about modernization held in 2015-2016, which allowed the increase of the ice-cream production volume by 27%, the working efficiency – by 8% and the decrease of factory costs – by 7%.

The head of the region and the speaker of the regional parliament visited workshops and listened to the description of the technological process.

In turn, the guests asked where the enterprise buys raw materials for ice-cream production, what standards it uses during the work, as well as what methods of staff motivation are used in the company.

Having examined the process of ice-cream production, Ivan Belozertsev and Valery Lidin inspected the line of semi-prepared food production such as pelmeni.

“The enterprise is not large but highly efficient. Technological lines are skillfully arranged and each square metre of the area is used for the benefit of the enterprise,” Ivan Belozertsev stated.

He also noted that the enterprise achieved good results having increased the assortment of produced goods up to 160 names.

“In 2016 the enterprise increased the volume of produced goods by 27%, which indicates that the products are in high demand among residents of Penza and other regions,” the governor said.

Ivan Belozertsev suggested the management of the JSC “Penzakholod” working out the issue of increasing the assortment of ice-cream sold in large trade chains in the Penza region.
