Penza, 12 April 2017. PenzaNews. Over 75 million rubles of budget funds were saved in Penza as a result of contest procedures. This was reported by the mayor Victor Kuvaytsev.

“In 2016, Penza municipal clients concluded 15,912 agreements. 292 of them were concluded with small business players, and one – with an organization of disabled people,” the head of the city administration said during the meeting on anti-corruption work coordination that was held in the regional government on Wednesday, April 12.

He explained that the system of municipal procurement is represented by two authorized centres – the department of education, and the institution “Penza procurement centre”, as well as by three independent clients that include the department of capital construction, the department and administration of communal services.

"The department of education of the city serves 120 budgetary institutions, two independent and one public establishments.

"In 2016, there were concluded 11.882 contracts. 209 contracts totaling 124 million rubles were concluded by means of bidding, and 11,673 contracts totaling 790 million rubles were drawn up with an only supplier," Victor Kuvaytsev specified.

According to him, the Penza procurement centre drew up 263 contracts equal to 648 million rubles.

"According to the results of the 2016 year, the department of communal services concluded 337 contracts: 73 contracts totaling 956 million rubles were concluded by means of bidding, and 264 contracts totaling 13.5 million rubles were drawn up with an only supplier," the mayor noted.

He reported that the department of communal services concluded 120 contracts: 16 contracts totaling 174 million rubles – by means of bidding, and 104 contracts totaling 6.328 million rubles were drawn up with an only supplier.

"According to the results of the 2016 year, the department of capital repairs concluded 110 contracts: 20 contracts totaling 1,699 million rubles were concluded by means of bidding, and 90 contracts totaling 4.702 million rubles were drawn up with an only supplier," Victor Kuvaytsev said.
