Penza region fails to enter top-20 of national investment climate rating

Penza, 2 June 2017. PenzaNews. The Penza region failed to enter the top-20 of the national integral rating of investment climate in constituent entities of the Russian Federation in 2017. The rating results were presented to the governors at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on Friday morning, June 2.

The leading position is still occupied by Tatarstan.
The top-10 also includes Chuvashia, Moscow, the Tula, Kaluga and Tyumen regions, Krasnodar Krai, the Voronezh, Moscow and Ulyanovsk regions.
In addition, high results were shown by the Tambov and Kostroma regions, Bashkiria, the Lipetsk, Vladimir, and Rostov regions, Saint Petersburg, Mordovia, the Ivanovo and Leningrad regions.
Thus, the top-20 regions that demonstrated the best results of collaboration with investors includes five regions of the Volga Federal District, these are Tatarstan, Chuvashia, Bashkiria, Mordovia and the Ulyanovsk region.
