Within the framework of the visit of the regional delegation to the People's Republic of China on Thursday, June 15, the Beijing electrotechnical company "Junenda" and the Penza region signed an agreement of intent that presupposes implementation of an investment project for construction of a production and processing agricultural complex.

The document was signed by the governor Ivan Belozertsev and the general director of the Chinese company Ho Yu.

As it was reported by the press service of the regional government, within the framework of the project it is planned to construct factories for production of butter, flour, and starch, as well as to build a drying complex, a granary, a vegetable store and some other facilities in the territory of the industrial park "Otvel".

It is expected that over 270 people will be employed.

A total volume of investments for the period till the year 2019 will amount to 18 billion rubles.

At present, the company "Junenda" is carrying out two investment projects in the Penza region – construction of a mushroom production complex (the LLC "Shemysheysky complex") and putting fallow land in the Gorodischensky and Nikolsky areas into circulation.
