Penza, 29 June 2017. PenzaNews. Food produced in the Penza region can be bought in all regions of Russia. This was reported by the minister of agriculture Andrei Burlakov.

"Our products are delivered to all constituent entities of the Russian Federation," he said at the meeting with representatives of trade networks and farmers that was held at the regional government on Wednesday, June 28.

Andrei Burlakov added that Penza products are also shipped to more than 18 countries around the world.

In particular, according to him, they can be found in shops of Europe, Africa, and Asia.

"The most wide-spread and well-known brands are 'Indilight', 'Molkom', 'United Liqueur and Spiritus Factories'. [...] Our pasta and cheese are also well-known," he specified noting that Penza sweets are popular too.

Andrei Burlakov drew attention to the fact that the Penza region is among those regions in which agricultural export significantly exceeds import.

He said that in 2016, Penza products equalling to 76 million dollars were exported outside Russia. According to the minister, it is three times more than the volume of import in the region.
