Penza, 3 July 2017. PenzaNews. The governor Ivan Belozertsev urged officials to provide assistance to Cherkizovo Group, which plans to implement a large-scale investment project in the Penza region.

"We should do everything in order to fulfil conditions suggested by the investor with regard to tax preferences and preparation of sites. We carried out great work, now it must be brought to an end," he said at the operational meeting in the regional government on Monday, July 3.

The head of the region noted that meat is delivered to "Cherkizovo meat processing plant" from the Lipetsk and Voronezh regions.

"We should create such conditions and develop the industry in order to create jobs and to have source material of local production – from the Penza region. We have such an opportunity," Ivan Belozertsev specified.
