"Molkom" puts soft cottage cheese production complex into operation

Penza, 10 August 2017. PenzaNews. The JSC "Dairy plant Penzensky", which is a member of Damate Group, launches a complex on production of different kinds of soft cottage cheese using an ultrafiltration method.

In August the enterprise launched a production complex – we equipped the factory with new tanks that allow production of several tons of the product at once, installed blending equipment that works in the stream "Alfa Laval/PCM", and a cottage cheese production line that is based on an ultrafiltration method and was produced by the Polish company "Alima Bis"," the press service of Damate Group told PenzaNews.

The company explained that installation and start-up work was carried out by specialists from Poland and France.

"The first line of the 'Alima Bis' company was installed at the factory in 2013. Its launch allowed of using modern packaging as well as executing aseptic bottling of products involving a minimum number of people – only two operators are required," the press service noted.

Damate Group explained that the decision to install new equipment at the factory was made in 2016 due to growing popularity of soft cottage cheese among buyers and increase in the number of orders for the product.

"At present, two lines allow processing up to 1,800 tons of raw milk per month. Installation and launch of the new equipment will greatly increase the range of products of the largest milk processing factory in Penza," the company said.

The press service reminded that modernization of the milk factory started immediately after it joined Damate Group.

"The total investment in 'Molkom' exceeds 1.4 billion roubles. In total, manufacturing areas of the enterprise are designed for processing 500 tons of milk per day," the company specified.
