Penza, 12 September 2017. PenzaNews. The governor Ivan Belozertsev recommended that designers of the Penza company "Askent", which produces leather accessories, should attend forums and exhibitions more often to get new ideas.

"The designers should have an opportunity to attend international exhibitions and thematic forums, to participate in training seminars, to watch their colleagues working in order to bring new ideas to Penza. To produce competitive goods it is necessary to grow as professionals all the time," he noted during his visit to the production of the "Askent" company on Monday, September 11.

Company representatives showed the governor the shop for cutting and sewing of bags, purses and belts, as well as the design department and the show room.

"The enterprise, which produces goods of high quality, has a great future. However, each product must have a label indicating that the good was produced in Penza. It is necessary that you are known far beyond our home region," Ivan Belozertsev said.

The group of companies "Askent" was established in 1993. It produces genuine leather accessories under the trademarks "Askent" and "Fabula". In 2016, the production was modernized – additional cutting complexes and sewing machines of a new generation were purchased.

The company has about 60 stores in Russia.
