Penza, 6 October 2017. PenzaNews. Accounts receivable of the enterprise "Penzalift", which emerged at the beginning of the year 2017 due to a breach of the payment discipline by users of the services, reached approximately 100 million roubles. Such data were provided by the head of the financial department of the mayor's office Olga Zavyalkina when she was giving a report on the results of the financial inspection of the enterprise at a meeting in the city administration on Friday, October 6.

In turn, the Penza mayor Victor Kuvaytsev asked why the issue had not been given due attention.

"Why were no measures taken in good time?" he asked the officials.

As it was explained by the head of the city administration’s Municipal Property Department Nailya Alyusheva, during the last four months, meetings which touched upon possible ways to overcome the situation, had been regularly held.

According to the head of the city administration’s Legal Department Vsevolod Pilipenko, if the work was to be activated, a debt of at least 40-50 million roubles could be recovered within a short period of time.

In summing up the meeting, Victor Kuvaytsev ordered his deputy on economic issues Andrei Shevchenko to take special control of the situation and to monitor conduct of activities aimed at financial and economic rehabilitation of the municipal unitary enterprise "Penzalift", the press service of the mayor's office reports.
