According to the executive director of the LLC "Dolina Roz" Ashot Atabekov, gerberas are unpretentious, they do not need much light and are less susceptible to diseases.
"Nowadays, there is no large-scale production of gerberas in the Russian Federation. The greenhouse in Mokshan is probably the biggest in the country. We have a place to develop. We are going to produce a marketable product," he informed the head of the region.
In turn, Ivan Belozertsev noted that much work had been done to restore the Mokshan greenhouse complex.
"It is developing successfully. I see big business opportunities here. Regional authority is ready to provide necessary assistance to investors," he said.
As it was reported by the press service of the regional government, in 2018 it is planned to launch production in another greenhouse increasing the number of staff by 150 people.
