"As a result of a prior allocation of subsidies from the 2018 budget carried out by the federal centre, the Penza region may receive over 5 billion roubles. It is a very good amount of money, which we expect to receive. It is going to be an effective support from the federal budget for implementation of our projects," the head of the region noted at the operational meeting in the regional government on Monday, November 13.
He noted that the final allocation of funds will be approved on December 1.
"I hope there will be no reduction in the amount of money the Penza region will get. In this connection, I ask the regional Ministry of Finance and personally the minister [Lubov Finogeeva] to work with the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation. If there are some unfavourable trends, report them to me so that I should also be involved," Ivan Belozertsev said.
The governor added that in the following year the Penza region will get 290 million roubles for achieving socially important goals.
"The commission considered 40 regions to decide which of them will receive the bonus. Penza is among them occupying the 30th position. It is good," the head of the region noted.
