"We have information that a number of producers from neighbouring regions deliver products that do not correspond to those stated in the declaration substituting one product with another. We have already carried out test purchases, Rospotrebnadzor is carrying out an analysis at the moment," he said at the meeting on issues of trade networks' collaboration with Penza producers, which was held in the regional government on Wednesday, November 15.
Andrei Burlakov explained that once the results of the test have been obtained, a meeting will be held, during which representatives of trade networks will learn about measures to be taken.
"Please always pay attention to the entry value of the product. If it is less than the actual cost price and if after taxes that are to be paid nothing is left in the price, then a question arises – what kind of product it is and where it comes from," the minister noted.
He stressed that Penza producers were not caught at production of such counterfeit goods.
"However, such products are available in shops and supermarkets. At the moment the situation is under our control," Andrei Burlakov summed up.
