Penza, 23 November 2017. PenzaNews. Celebration of the 5th anniversary of the company Damate was held in the Penza Philharmonic hall on Thursday, November 23.

The governor Ivan Belozertsev was an honorary guest of the ceremony. He left the following inscription on the banner installed in the hall: "I wish the company to become the best in the world. Happiness and prosperity for you. I am proud of you, I.A. Belozertsev".

At the beginning of the event, the head of the region noted that with the help of investors the big company managed to achieve impressing results over a short period.

"This is a rare case for today's Russia when a company managed to implement such a large-scale project over a short period of time being successful in building infrastructure, learning technologies of production, processing and sale of turkey meat," he explained.

Ivan Belozertsev reminded that it was also the ex-governor Vasily Bochkarev, who had headed the region when the company began its work and had made a lot for its development.

"Let us launch new grounds and a factory in February 2018 and reach the result of 155,000 tons of turkey meat production per year," the head of the region suggested addressing to those present.

The governor emphasized that Indilight products became a feature of the Penza region and people from other Russian regions easily recognize the brand.

Then, Ivan Belozertsev awarded eight workers of Damate Ground.

In turn, the board chairman of Damate Group Naum Babaev noted that the enterprise had a longer history: in particular, the technology of producing the turkey meat had been developed for six years already, and the present company had taken its origin in 2007 as a part of the dairy product complex Rusmolko.

"We have made a huge progress. I do not think that there are other companies that would show such a growth. From scratch we have become the largest turkey meat producer in the country," he specified.

Naum Babaev added that a huge success was also achieved by the Penza enterprise Molkom – after it entered Damate Group the volume of production increased by over 500%.

"From my own part, I would like to promise that movement forward, growth, development and life will remain our life credo forever. This will help to develop the company, the workers and ourselves," he said thanking all employees of the enterprise who had worked not only from the moment of the company's official establishment but even before.

Turning to guests of the event, the general director of Damate Group Rashid Khairov noted that they had had to start from unfinished poultry yards, a suspended project, equipment that had been detained at the customs office, absence of any infrastructure, but during the time of its work the company had overcome all difficulties and reached a qualitatively new level.

"In five years Damate has brought to region over 20 billion roubles of investment, it is planned to increase the amount to 41 billion roubles. [...] The turkey project became a real driver for the growth of the Penza region: ten kilometres of roads were built, thousands of metres of communications were laid, and hundreds of thousands of square metres of production areas were built. This year alone, we transfer 970 million roubles to budgets of all levels. We created over 3,000 jobs in the Penza region. In 2 years’ time the number will amount to 5,500," he explained.

Then workers and leaders of Damate Group were congratulated on the 5th anniversary by company's partners.
