Costs of participation in exhibitions abroad to be compensated to Penza enterprises

Penza, 28 November 2017. PenzaNews. The procedure for granting subsidies for partial compensation for expenses to enterprises that carry out foreign economic activities was approved by a decision of the Penza region government, which Ivan Belozertsev signed on Monday, November 27.

The document applies to the legal relationships that arose starting January 1, 2017.

According to the text of the decision, in order to obtain the subsidy legal persons and individual entrepreneurs must be registered with the Penza region tax authorities and have an official registration in the region.

The regional Ministry of Economy was appointed the main administrator of the funds.

A potential recipient of the grant will have to provide photocopies of different documents including an application for participation in an international exhibition abroad, an area lease agreement, a proof of the payment, as well as work completion certificates.

Within two days, the regional Ministry of Economy will request a statement from the Uniform State Register of Legal Entities or the Unified State Register of Private Entrepreneurs, as well as a tax receipt from the Federal Tax Service of Russia.

The approved procedure assumes that even if the company or the entrepreneur comply with all the requirements, they may still get a rejection of compensation for a part of costs in case there is budget deficit in the region.

The subsidy will amount to not more than 50% of damages suffered under the agreement of exhibition facilities lease and payment of registration fees for participation in international events but not more than 500,000 roubles per exhibition.
