Molkom launches new line of baby food in Penza

Penza, 30 January 2018. PenzaNews. The dairy plant "Penzensky" (a member of Damate Group) launched a new line of baby food production on Tuesday, January 30.

During the official ceremony organized on the occasion the governor Ivan Belozertsev thanked the management of the company for the systematic development of production.

"It is very important that good food for children is delivered to schools and kindergartens," the region head noted.

In turn, the general director of the management company Damate Rashid Khairov said that starting the year 2012, over 1.5 billion roubles had been invested in the development of Penza Molkom.

"The cost of the new line is 160 million roubles," he specified.

Rashid Khairov drew attention to the fact that production of baby food imposes a great responsibility on the staff of the plant.

"I would like to emphasize the motto of our company once again: We produce only what we feed our children with," he said.

After the launch of the line, participants of the ceremony had an opportunity to assess production facilities and the quality of the new products.

As it was noted by Ivan Belozertsev, baby food from Molkom is characterized by "a wonderful taste".

"I personally liked it," the governor said.

It is expected that Molkom will produce specialized dietary and preventive nutrition for children from the age of eight months under its own brand "Mamalysh" on the new line.

The first product brought to the market was bifilife, which is made of milk of the highest quality supplied by the company Rusmolko. It is offered to clients in aseptic packaging – in an eco-friendly box made of six-layer pasteboard in the volume of 200 ml with a straw.

At an initial stage, 7 tons of the product per day will be produced on the new line. The growth up to 15 tons a day within six months with the possibility of further increase in production is projected.

The products are planned to be sold not only in the Penza region but also through major federal chains in Moscow and the Moscow region.

Previously Molkom had launched production of cottage cheese for children from the age of six months. It has been produced since 2013.
