Penza, 22 February 2018. PenzaNews. Developers' rent arrears for plots of land in Penza exceeded 198 million roubles. This was said by the head of the city administration’s Municipal Property Department Nailya Alyusheva to mayor Victor Kuvaytsev.

"The rent arrears of JSC Penzastroy exceed 104 million roubles," she specified.

Nailya Alyusheva added that the debt of the holding SKM Group amounted to over 33 million roubles with more than 27 million owed by LLC SKM Group, and over 6 million roubles is the debt of LLC Mega P.

"The debt of the municipal unitary enterprise Penzgorstroyzakazchik exceeds 11 million roubles," the head of the city administration’s Municipal Property Department said noting that LLC Business Consulting Plus has the debt of over 36 million roubles, LLC San-Liko-Invest – over 5 million, JSC Penzapromstroy – over 4 million, and LLC Sever-Trast – 3.7 million roubles.

The major defaulters also include production organization Zavod Penztekstilmash, whose debt reached 8 million roubles.

Nailya Alyusheva drew attention to the fact that a number of companies had a debt for lease of non-residential premises.

Commenting on the announced data Victor Kuvaytsev demanded that work with debtors should be intensified.

"The law is harsh but it is the law: the one who rents municipal property must pay for it, if not – the property must be returned," the press service of the city administration quotes the mayor.
