Penza, 5 March 2018. PenzaNews. Governor Ivan Belozertsev thinks that the government of the Penza region and the heads of municipal administrations should encourage successful businessmen to invest in construction of private sports and cultural institutions.

According to him, the region has many potential investors.

"There is only a need to discuss this with them. They should be encouraged. We should help them with allocation of land," Ivan Belozertsev said at the action meeting in the regional government on Monday, March 5.

He drew attention to the fact that none of the sports facilities built in the Penza region in previous years at the expense of the Penza region budget cover the expenses.

"The regional and municipal budgets allocate for their maintenance extremely much money," the governor noted.

In this regard, Ivan Belozertsev set the task to take exhaustive measures to ensure that sports and cultural institutions of the Penza region earn as much as possible, which should be achieved not by means of increasing the cost of services but rather by increasing work efficiency.
