Penza, 6 March 2018. PenzaNews. Investment in fixed capital of the Penza region including all sources of financing amounted to 72.5 billion roubles in 2017. This was reported by the governor Ivan Belozertsev.

According to him, this is 7.6% more that the level of 2016.

"By the end of 2018 the positive trend is expected to be preserved. For the time being, nine investment agreements have been concluded in the Penza region with five of them signed last year. The volume of investment following the terms of the agreements reaches almost 15 billion roubles," Ivan Belozertsev specified giving his annual investment address in the regional Philharmonic Hall on Tuesday, March 6.

According to data of the Russian Statistics Service, in 2016 the volume of investment in the economy of the Penza region amounted to about 65 billion roubles.

During the previous three years the figure never dropped below 82 billion, peaking in 2015 — 89 billion.
