Penza, 26 March 2018. PenzaNews. The difference between the price of construction and the sale price of 1 square metre on the primary market in the Penza region is the smallest among regions of the Volga Federal District. This was reported by the governor Ivan Belozertsev.

He specified that in the Penza region it amounts to 8%, for example, while in Bashkiria and the Saratov region – 37% and 36%, respectively.

"The figures suggest that Penza companies use high-quality construction materials without increasing the price of new housing significantly, on the one hand. On the other hand, however, we understand that the cost of building materials is higher than in the Saratov region, for example, that is why construction companies' margin is low," the head of the region said at the action meeting in the regional government on Monday, March 26.

He noted that "it is good for population but not quite good for a construction company".

"It goes without saying that the market of building materials should be developed, the costs must be reduced," Ivan Belozertsev added.
