Penza, 14 May 2018. PenzaNews. Governor Ivan Belozertsev ordered deputy chairmen of the Penza region Government Oleg Yagov and Valery Bespalov to negotiate the issue of promoting devices designed to prevent cases of children falling out of windows with manufacturers of plastic windows.

He noted that with the onset of warm weather such incidents had been registered in different regions of the country including the Orel, Kirov and Tula regions, and in 2017 such an incident had occurred in the Penza region.

"Let us work with manufacturers so that they produce windows with locking accessories, which cannot be opened by children," Ivan Belozertsev said at the action meeting in the regional government on Monday, May 14.

According to the region head, it is also necessary to inform parents that mosquito nets cannot protect children from falling from a height.
