The preliminary cost of the project is 5.7 billion rubles.

It is assumed that the launch of new production capacities will contribute to the solution of priority tasks of socio-economic development of the Penza region, help expand the export potential and ensure the country's food security.

Rosselkhozbank pays special attention to investment projects aimed at the production of competitive domestic products. According to the press service of the bank, the Bank and GC Damate have been successfully cooperating for more than seven years: during this time the group of companies was granted loans for current activities and implementation of investment projects worth about 48 billion rubles. Joint implementation of large-scale projects contributes to the development of Russian agriculture, creates new standards and allows providing consumers with high quality food products.

The governor of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev stressed the significance of the signed agreement.

“Rosselkhozbank and GC Damate stay good partners for several years, and their cooperation allows developing the economy of the Penza region through the implementation of the largest in the history of the region investment project. It also means the expansion of production, new jobs with decent wages, increased tax base, development of territories. The government of the Penza region has been and remains an active party of the tripartite cooperation. We will support these ties in the future, since we are talking about the well-being of the Penza region and its inhabitants,” he said.

In turn, the board chairman of Damate Group Naum Babaev drew attention to the fact that the implementation of such large-scale projects is possible only as a result of the joint efforts of all parties involved.

“We already have longstanding successful experience of cooperation, and we are sure that the creation of a new plant in the Penza region for turkey processing will play its role not only for the development of the region, but also for the industry as a whole,” he stressed.
