Penza, 9 June 2018. PenzaNews. A cooperation agreement was concluded between the Penza administration and the rating agency for evaluation of digital economy projects at the 6th social and economic forum Search of Province. Policy of Partnership on Saturday, June 9.

The document was signed by mayor Victor Kuvaytsev and chairman of the board of the agency Sergei Bezdelov.

The head of the city administration expressed the opinion that given the increasing pace of development of computer technologies, the transition to a digital economy is inevitable.

"The signing of such an agreement indicates not only that our city keeps up with the times, but also that new processes do not scare us, and that on the contrary we express special interest to them," Victor Kuvaytsev explained.

In turn, Sergei Bezdelov noted that the digital transformation of the economy worldwide is changing existing industries and creates new ones but until a legal framework has been determined people will fear the changes.

As it was reported by the press service of the Penza administration, the signing of the agreement was aimed at the increase of the popularity of digital economy, spread of the practice of its development as well as assistance in implementing projects and initiatives to improve the image of digital economy.
