Penza, 2 August 2018. PenzaNews. Members of the commission of the Penza City Duma on budget, finance and tax policy rejected an amendment to the draft decision concerning the allocation of 1,460,000 roubles by the municipality for the demolition of an illegally constructed building at 173 Suvorova street.

As reported by the City Duma press service, the deputies pointed to the fact that the amendment had been filed on the day of the meeting of the commission.

In addition, they referred to the fact that the obligation to demolish the illegally built construction should be borne by the owner and not by the Penza administration.

On July 31 at a meeting in the Penza administration, mayor Victor Kuvaytsev ordered his deputy Yury Ilyin to arrange for demolition of the illegally constructed building in Suvorova street. He noted that the facility had to be removed from "the red line" of the main city street.
