Penza, 8 November 2018. PenzaNews. The all-Russian forum Business Territory – Life Territory for entrepreneurs and municipal officials was opened in the Lermontov Penza Regional Library.

Addressing the participants during the opening ceremony, chairman of the Penza region government Nikolai Simonov expressed an opinion that increasing the share of businessmen in society is one of the most important tasks, as it influences the development of the state.

According to him, to date, 30% of the working-age population of the Penza region is employed in the small and medium business, which makes this type of entrepreneurship an important sector of economy.

"The purpose of the event today is to show the best practices. [...] We invited representatives of all areas to let them see [the best practices], ask questions if they have any and receive an answer," Nikolai Simonov explained.

In turn, first vice-president of the all-Russian public organization of small and medium business Opora Russia Azat Gazizov noted that it is necessary to popularize business activity starting from the kindergarten.

"The businessman brings life, activities and new jobs," he said.

Denis Kashirov, the head of the Penza regional department of Opora Russia, also addressed forum participants with a welcoming speech.

He wished good luck to the finalists of the award "Business Success", the winners of which would be announced in the afternoon, and expressed the hope that Penza businessmen would be awarded at the federal level.

After the ceremony, the event continued with the work of several sections.

The program of the forum includes case conferences, where the projects of the finalists of the "Business Success" award will be presented. In addition, there will be round tables, workshops and other educational events, including a public reception, as well as a foresight session.
