Penza, 21 November 2018. PenzaNews. The amount of the average purchase when making a cashless payment by the Mir card in the Penza region amounted to 650 roubles in the first nine months of 2018. This was reported by the press service of the Volga-Vyatka main department of the Bank of Russia in the Penza region.

"The number of Mir cards issued in the region as of October 1 was 399,200, which is 2.7 times more than the mber for the same period of 2017," the institution said.

The press service added that the share of Mir cards of the total number of issued cards had reached 22%, while a year earlier the share had been only 8.4%.

"From January to September 2018, 17.6 million transactions were made by cards of the national payment system in the Penza region, 12.8 million of these were transactions for payment of goods and services, 4.8 million – cash withdrawal transactions," the institution specified.
