Lawsuit to recover penalty under contract for construction of housing for orphans filed in Penza

Penza, 2 December 2018. PenzaNews. Municipal state institution Department of Capital Constriction of Penza City filed a lawsuit to the regional Arbitration Court to recover a penalty in the amount of over 10.8 million roubles for violating the terms of the municipal contract as of May 12, 2017, according to which the company had to build three houses for orphans in Zarya neighbourhood.

The case is scheduled for trial on December 18.
In the preliminary meeting held on November 15, the representative of the claimant supported the declared requirements in full.
In turn, the representative of the defendant did not recognize the claim, and also stated the disproportion of sanctions to the consequences of the violation of obligations.
According to the press service of the Penza City Hall, on Sunday, December 2, head of the city administration Victor Kuvaytsev inspected the progress of work at the construction site. Responsible persons informed him that internal finishing is being conducted in building No. 2: linoleum is being laid, workers are gluing wall-paper. At the moment the building is heated.
