Penza, 18 February 2019. PenzaNews. The debt of the bankrupt construction company Penzastroy for lease of plots of land in Penza makes up about 127 million roubles. This was said by mayor Victor Kuvaytsev at the meeting of governor Ivan Belozertsev with the heads of the administrations of the city districts and municipal areas that was held in the regional government via videoconferencing on Monday, February 18.

He added that another major defaulter was the holding SKM Group, which owed more than 60 million roubles to the budget.

Victor Kuvaytsev also informed the head of the region that as of January 1, 2019, there had been an increase in debt for rent for plots of land compared to the level of 2018.

"The main reason for this situation is the failure to make lease payments for plots of land by construction companies," the press service of the city hall quotes Victor Kuvaytsev.
