Penza, 25 February 2019. PenzaNews. Almost 181 billion roubles of loans were issued in the Penza region in 2018. This was reported by the press service of the Volga-Vyatka main department of the Bank of Russia in the Penza region.

"Enterprises and companies of the region received 99.3 billion roubles, the population – 81.5 billion roubles," the press release clarifies.

It notes that the total amount of lending increased by 11.2% compared to 2017.

"In general, the loan portfolio of regional borrowers as of January 1, 2019 amounted to 214.9 billion roubles with an increase of 20.6% compared to January 1, 2017," the text runs.

It is added that the amount of funds on deposits increased by 8.6%, that is to 131.8 billion roubles over 12 months.
