Penza, 24 August 2019. PenzaNews. The first batch of sunflower oil produced by LLC Oil Factory Penzensky was shipped by train consisting of eight tanks to China.

The total weight of the shipped products was 500 tons.

"Export deliveries became possible due to an agreement between Rusgrain Group and Chinese partners signed on May 23 this year in Cheboksary within the framework of the third meeting of the Council for Interregional Cooperation between Volga and Yangtze regions with the support of the Penza region government. The project for the development of partnership between the regions of the Volga Federal District in Russia and the provinces located along the Yangtze River in China is implemented on behalf of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin," the press service of the Ministry of Economy of the region told PenzaNews.

The ministry added that in the next two years the Penza company plans to ship 4,000 tons of agricultural products to China every month, including various types of vegetable oil, oilseed residues, soybean and grain crops.

"Shipments of full container trains of rapeseed oil and soybean from Penza to Chongqing are scheduled for September-October," the ministry said.
