Penza, 13 December 2019. PenzaNews. Cement production at the Asia Cement plant, located in Nikolsk area of Penza region, exceeded 1.7 million tonnes since the beginning of 2019. This was announced by sales director Ramil Akzhigitov during the annual meeting with partners held in the conference hall of the Azimut Hotel Penza.

"Rail shipments in 2019 increased by 51% compared to the first year of operation [2014] and by 13% compared to the previous year," he said.

Ramil Akzhigitov noted that the share of railroad shipments had been steadily growing over the entire period, while the share of road shipments had been gradually decreasing.

At the same time, according to the sales director of Asia Cement Ltd., recently the emphasis was placed on the delivery of products by motor transport.

"In 2019, the volume increased by 37% compared to last year," he explained, adding that in the near future the company intends to reach approximately equal volume of shipment by both modes of transportation.

Ramil Akzhigitov specified that following the results of the current year shipment indicators were going to make up more than 14,000 goods wagons and more than 32,000 trucks, with the greatest volume of production going to Moscow region, Tatarstan, as well as Nizhny Novgorod and Penza regions.

Asia Cement is a modern dry cement plant with a capacity of about 2 million tons per year. It was opened in Nikolsk area of Penza region in 2014.

The strategic goal of the company is to provide the Russian market with cement with high strength characteristics and stable quality parameters.

Delivery is carried out by two types of transport – by road and rail. Shipment is possible both in bulk and packages weighing 50, 40 and 25 kg.

The company's products were repeatedly included in the list of 100 Best Goods of Russia.
