About 1,300 bankruptcy cases considered in Penza region in 2019

Penza, 14 February 2020. PenzaNews. In 2019, the Penza Region Arbitration Court considered 1 264 applications for recognition as insolvent (bankrupt), which is 475 cases more than in 2018. This was announced by chairman of the court Stanislav Radin.

"Of these, 153 bankruptcy applications were submitted by legal entities, 1 077 applications – by citizens, and 34 ones – by individual entrepreneurs," he said during a meeting to sum up the work of the Penza Region Arbitration Court in 2019 and to define objectives for 2020.
Stanislav Radin added that the bankruptcy proceedings had been completed in connection with the end of bankruptcy proceedings in 55 cases and with dismissal and nonsuit in 201 cases. 15 cases were left without consideration, 990 cases were completed with the sale of property, and 3 ones – with the transfer of jurisdiction.
According to him, 134 cases were completed with the decision to terminate the proceeding.
"The number of incomplete bankruptcy cases at the end of the reporting period is 1 618," said the head of the court, noting 237 of them related to legal entities, 1 309 – to citizens, and 72 – to individual entrepreneurs.
