Penza, 7 August 2020. PenzaNews. 2 218 small and medium-sized enterprises in Penza region received subsidies totalling 78.1 million roubles for measures to prevent novel coronavirus infection COVID-19 in accordance with the Russian Government Decree No. 976 of 2 July 2020. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Economy.

“There are a total of 3 649 potential recipients of subsidies in the region, with a possible amount of payments to support them equalling 108.5 million roubles,” said the agency.

The press service added that 2 235 legal entities and individual entrepreneurs had filed applications.

The Ministry of Economy recalled that the subsidy could be provided to small and medium-sized businesses and socially oriented non-profit organizations that meet certain conditions, including those carrying out activities related to the production or sale of excisable goods.
