Penza, 20 November 2020. PenzaNews. The average price of 1 square metre of the total area of apartments in the primary housing market in Penza region amounted to 53 183 roubles 23 kopecks in the third quarter of 2020. This was evidenced by data of Rosstat.

Compared to the second quarter of the current year, when 1 square metre in newly-erected buildings in the region cost 50 892 roubles 67 kopecks, the growth amounted to 4.5%.

Compared to the same period last year, housing on the primary market rose in price in Penza region by 15.3%: in the third quarter of 2019, the average price of 1 square metre of the total area of apartments was 46 140 roubles 36 kopecks.

In the secondary market, the average price of 1 square metre at the end of the third quarter of 2020 amounted to 44 440 roubles 43 kopecks.

In the second quarter of this year, it was 3.1% lower – 43 094 roubles 12 kopecks; whereas in the third quarter of 2019 it was 6.9% lower. At that time, 1 square metre of the total area of apartments on average cost 41 580 roubles 46 kopecks.
