Penza, 14 December 2020. PenzaNews. The situation on the labour market of Penza region began to stabilize. This was stated by Minister of Labour, Social Protection and Demography of the region Alexei Kachan.

“It should be noted that since October there has been a stabilization and a decrease in the number of the unemployed. This is primarily due to the work of the employment service,” he said at a briefing session at the regional government on Monday, December 14.

Aleksei Kachan clarified that more than 34 000 people had been employed with the assistance of specialists since the beginning of 2020.

“Nowadays, there are 21 820 unemployed people,” he added.

According to the minister, the number of the unemployed in the third quarter of this year was as high as 34 800.
