Penza, 5 January 2021. PenzaNews. Penza region occupied the 19th position in the rating of constituent entities of the Russian Federation in terms of promoting the development of competition in 2019. Such data are contained in the minutes of the meeting of the interdepartmental working group on the implementation of the provisions of the standard for the development of competition in the regions, which is published on the website of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.

According to the information provided, in the previous rating – for 2018 – Penza region was ranked 23rd.

The rating of 2019, as before, was headed by Omsk region. The second place was taken by Tatarstan, which had previously occupied the 11th position. Mordovia closed the top three, rising from the fifth place.
