Penza, 4 March 2021. PenzaNews. The number of the self-employed in Penza region exceeded 8 000 people. This was said by Governor Ivan Belozertsev during the ceremony of announcing the investment message, which took place in the Gubernsky centre of cultural development in Penza on Thursday, March 4.

“Nowadays there are more than 8 000 self-employed people in Penza region, which means legalisation of the shadow economy,” he said.

The head of the region instructed the heads of the municipal administrations to strengthen explanatory work with the population and to bring information about the benefits of the special tax regime to everyone interested.

“Self-employed people can apply to My Business centre and get free advice on lending, taxation, accounting and training courses,” reminded Ivan Belozertsev.

He demanded that the issue of providing this category of taxpayers with affordable micro-loans from the Poruchitel fund be worked out.
