“In February [compared to December 2020], the prices of carrots, white cabbage, apples, onions, sunflower oil, potatoes, chilled and frozen chickens, and whole frozen fish increased the most – by 4.5%. [...] I would like to draw attention of the Ministry of Agriculture: you should work more actively with retail chains, especially with the regional ones. You should work harder! I am not satisfied with your work,” he said at a meeting with the heads of municipal and urban district administrations at Lermontov Penza Regional Library on Monday, March 15.

According to the governor, management of regional retail chains should have an understanding of the situation.

“There should not be such an increase in prices,” Ivan Belozertsev stressed.
