“Dear colleagues, I am determined to work in the most constructive way possible. The main task set by President is to raise the living standards of the Penza region's residents and to create conditions for the dynamic development of the region,” Oleg Melnichenko said in his address to the authorities and the public during an official event at the regional Legislative Assembly on Saturday, March 27.

“We should still keep the good image of the region that existed all the time throughout the history of the region. Besides, it is necessary for Penza region to be famous not for some terrorists and criminals or corrupt officials, but for its achievements in the field of economy, culture, science and education. That's what I see as my main task,” the acting governor stressed.
