Penza region was ranked 13th in the national ranking of the investment climate in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, which was presented as part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) on Friday, June 4. This is according to the press service of the regional Ministry of Economy.

“The region showed one of the best results among all the subjects in the new ranking indicator ‘Export Support Institution Effectiveness Assessment’,” the press release noted.

It adds that the value of the indicator “Evaluation of Advisory and Educational Services Provided by SME Support Infrastructure Organisations in the Region” increased significantly, from 3.63 to 4.17 with a 5-point evaluation system.

“Penza region also joined the group of leading regions in terms of such indicators as ‘Effectiveness of the Institution of Regulatory Impact Assessment’, ‘Quality Assessment of Telecommunications Services by Entrepreneurs’ and ‘Share of Regional Guarantee Organisation in Regional Tax Revenues’,” the text said.
