Penza, 21 October 2021. PenzaNews. The number of self-employed people who pay professional income tax increased by 2.7 times in Penza region since the beginning of 2021. This was stated by Governor Oleg Melnichenko.

“As of October 17, the number of registered professional income tax payers in Penza region was 14 276. This is 2.7 times more than at the beginning of the year,” he said.

The head of the region added that during the first eight months of this year, 31.2 million roubles in the form of professional income tax had been paid to the budget.

“Given the prospects for development, this confirms the economic feasibility of providing state support to self-employed citizens,” the regional government’s press service quoted Oleg Melnichenko as saying.
