Reportedly, this institution, once built, will reduce the load on the village school No. 2 that currently works both in morning and evening hours.
The school section of the new school-kindergarten will be able to hold 200 students – eight classes for grade 1-4 students, the press service of the Penza region Construction Ministry told PenzaNews.
“The kindergarten is designed for 150 children, or 60 groups,” they clarified.
As PenzaNews reported earlier, the Penza region governor Ivan Belozertsev in September 2015 instructed to prepare the project cost estimate documentation to build a new kindergarten in Srednaya Yelyuzan. According to him, building a new preschool institution in the village has been an urgent task for a long time, as children are taught in mosques because there is no kindergarten.
In February 2016, the media learned that a land plot of 0.9 hectares was allocated for the construction. According to representatives of the subcontractor organization “Stroyproekt,” the building will open in the spring of 2017.
