Penza Mayor inspects repair works in school in Zarya
Penza, 10 July 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza city administration head Victor Kuvaytsev inspected repair works in the building of school No. 52 in Zarya residential area on July, 10.
He noted that the inside walls were painted and damaged brickwork façade was replaced so far. Besides, works on façade insulation are going on. Old wooden window frames are planned to be replaced by plastic ones.
During the inspection, the mayor drew attention to ceiling panels sagging caused by steam.
“It suggests that there is a problem with the hood. It can’t be this way. The issue should be resolved by the beginning of the school year,” Victor Kuvaytsev emphasized.
Besides, the city administration head ordered to asphalt the walkway in front of the central entrance and remove garbage from the surrounding area.
“We won’t leave this school out, especially as the number of pupils here is growing due to families moving to Zarya under the program of resettlement from slum and emergency dwelling. The development of the new prospective area is our priorities as of today,” the press service of the mayor’s office cited Victor Kuvaytsev.
