Alexander Voronkov checks progress of village schools preparation for school year
Penza, 22 July 2016. PenzaNews. The Minister of Education of the Penza region Alexander Voronkov visited educational organizations of the Kamensky area, where he checked the progress in preparation for the new school year.

In the school of the village of Kevdo-Melsitovo along with the ongoing work of bringing the entrance and the kitchen in order, the repair of the gym is coming to an end as part of the federal project on creating conditions for physical education and sports in village schools. In total, 16 gyms are planned to be repaired in the Penza region this year.
In addition, the head of the regional Ministry of Education visited the school in the village of Kobylkino, where a kindergarten for 60 places is being constructed attaching to the school. Commissioning of the facility, which is planned on September 1, will completely solve the issue concerning pre-education in the village.
“This goal achieving became possible due to implementation of the project on creating additional places in pre-school educational organizations in the region, which started in 2013. During this time, 16 thousand places have been opened in kindergartens of the region. We keep working on it even now,” Alexander Voronkov said.
By now, rooms redecorating, floor painting, ceiling whitewashing on the second floor finished, and partial roof repair is done.
“Ensuring children’s safety on the territory of educational organizations is an indisputable requirement. The work should be completed in due time,” the press service of the regional Ministry of Education cites Alexander Voronkov.
