Students of school No. 77 congratulated by Penza city and regional top officials on Knowledge Day
Penza, 1 September 2016. PenzaNews. Government officials congratulated students and teachers of secondary school No. 77 of the city of Penza on the Day of Knowledge celebrated on Thursday, September 1.

Among the honored guests was Governor Ivan Belozertsev, Mayor of Penza Victor Kuvaytsev, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Information Technology and Communications, the expert of the central headquarters of ARPF Leonid Levin and other officials.
Addressing the audience, Ivan Belozertsev noted that September 1 always brings excitement.
“First of all, I greet the children who came to school for the very time. Look, how beautiful they are!” Ivan Belozertsev said.
The Governor wished the students to strive and get as much knowledge as possible and expressed confidence that the professionalism of the teaching staff will help them.
In turn, Leonid Levin wished that the study involved the joy of getting useful information.
“I would like you to become not only those who will be the pride of your kin, your family, but also the city, the region,” he said.
Also, the students and the school staff were congratulated by Victor Kuvaytsev.
“I am sure that all adults envy the children today because they begin a period with a great deal of knowledge, passion and at the same time great responsibility. [...] The world is changing, evolving, and this requires continuous learning and improvement. Education comes to the foreground,” the mayor stressed.
He added that only an educated, well-rounded and civilized person can build the future society.
“It is these people who grow up to be strong personalities and who, of course, make up a strong Russia,” the head of the city administration said.
During the official ceremony they awarded teachers who showed success in professional activities.
The festive event continued with creative performances of young athletes. The special guest of the celebration was the 2016 Olympic medalist Denis Ablyazin.
