Ivan Belozertsev suggests introducing weeks of writers’ works in schools

Penza, 4 September 2016. PenzaNews. The governor of the Penza region, Ivan Belozertsev offered annual themed weeks in schools, colleges and universities, dedicated to famous writers, born in the region.

During Kuprin literary festival on Saturday, September 3, the head of the region noted the continued relevance of the writer’s works.
“Alexander Kuprin loved his homeland, loved Russia. His works tell about life, people and their problems. When the writer emigrated, his soul ached for the fate of the country,” the governor said.
According to him, it is important that the young people got acquainted with his work, in this regard Ivan Belozertsev offered themed weeks in educational institutions, the press service of the government of the Penza region informs.
