“The theme of the dissertation of Victor Nikolaevich [Kuvaytsev] reads as follows: “Energy saving technologies and technical means for oilseed crops sowing.” It was approved at the meeting of the Scientific Council on February 27, 2013,” the agency interlocutor said.

He added that the theme of the dissertation research might be changed during the work on it.

According to the information available to PenzaNews, the supervisor of the dissertation of Victor Kuvaytsev is doctor of technical sciences, a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, professor of the “Mechanization of technological processes in agroindustrial complex” department of the Penza State Agricultural Academy Nikolai Laryushin.

Co-authored with him, as well as with the candidate of technical sciences Alexander Shukov and two post-graduates, Victor Kuvaytsev prepared and published in the August issue of “Niva Povolzhya” magazine two articles, which also have short annotations in English.

The theme of the first one – “Theoretical studies of technological process of work of dual-level opener for sowing small seeded oilseed crops.” This article contains a lot of different formulas. In addition, it has several drawings which help those who are not experts in the field of agriculture to more easily understand the subject of the study.

The theme of the second Penza mayor’s article is “Structure of pulley-shaped sowing machine for sowing small seeded oildseed crops.” It particular, it touches upon one of the most important issues of sowing seeds – accuracy when setting up small seeding rate on the machine, which influences the uniformity of distribution of seeds on the field, seeding stability and cropping capacity.

“Niva Povolzhya” is a scientific-theoretical and practical magazine for scientists and technicians. By the decision of Higher Attestation Commission, it is included in the list of the leading peer-reviewed scientific magazines and publications, where main results of candidate and doctoral dissertations should be published.

The editor-in-chief of the “Niva Povolzhya” magazine is doctor of technical sciences, professor, rector of the Penza State Agricultural Academy Oleg Kukharev.
